Be an advocate for the real estate and proptech industry in state and national government.  Provide awareness to the member community of important legislation that will affect the industry to create informed and engaged citizens.

Works to grow the membership of the community and to provide programming tailored to our communities needs.

Serves to help publish our weekly newsletter and our monthly publication focused on research from the higher educational institutions, Journal of Innovation in Real Estate.

Leads our university program developing strategic alliances with colleges and universities across the US and fostering the growth of our student chapters.

Grows our mentorship program and resource list for potential advisory members for our proptech member companies.

Appoints a leader and a small project team to work on initiatives to benefit the Council and its members.

Works to build our network of venture capital firms, angel investors, family offices, corporate investors and private debt sources that can be used in financing proptech companies.

Serves as an Ombudsman role for the organization. Recommends new board members, by-law amendments and organizational structure changes.  Provides a slate of board members for each election cycle.

Oversees the staff and reports to the Board.  Makes strategic recommendations for the growth of the community.
